2026 Dawn Cup Preliminary Reading List
The tentative pre-selected book list is for the judges to take advantage of, and the scores are random (beat up the tube X)
Derivative Fanfiction (I’m Currently All-In on Naruto)
All five stars! Naruto, Detective Conan, Type-Moon, Hunter x Hunter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Grave Robbers’ Chronicles, crossover stories with the American superhero universe, Prince of Tennis, and Haikyu!! They’re all represented. I love good plots and writing, so feel free to recommend stories! I read both on and off site!
Guess What I Like
Novels with great writing, worldbuilding, and plot. This is just my personal opinion.
Fanfiction Recommendations
A good story deserves to be seen by everyone!
[Derivative Fiction] Great Reads I’ve Read
Stories I personally enjoy, including Japanese anime, crossover works from the DC universe and beyond, Harry Potter, and more. I read BG, BL, and no-couple stories alike
Dragon Raja and The Grave Robbers' Chronicles
Most are about dragons.
Zhi/Long/Dao/Gui Fanfiction
Everyone, please recommend some!
Bookshelf Cleanup: No Romance (2)
Keeping some books here for easy access (including multiverse stories)
Fanfiction and Derivatives: Anime, Western Fandoms, and More
My preferences: no-couple stories = diverse pairings > switch couples > romance > everything else. I generally don’t read stories focused on a male bottom. Since these are fanfics, I consider characterization, OOC levels, and plot. Sports and wuxia are in a separate list.
Divine Fanfiction
Fanfiction for Harry Potter, Jujutsu Kaisen, Bungou Stray Dogs, Grave Robbers' Chronicles, The King's Avatar, Detective Conan, DC and other Western comics, Western TV shows, sports, and more. I like stories with good prose, plots, and believable characters.
Beloved Reads Worth Rereading Again and Again
My personal top picks on this site
Magical Creatures
Unusual IPs or fanfics with inventive premises.
A Must-Read for Omnivorous Readers
Caution: no pure romance, and some are unfinished. Can't guarantee the fanworks are free of OOC. I'm too lazy to write descriptions for some, so check the summaries.
Free Derivative Works and Non-VIP Stories
Includes Haikyu!!, Tokyo Revengers, Dragon Raja, The Lost Tomb, The King's Avatar, Harry Potter, Inuyasha, Bungo Stray Dogs, The Prince of Tennis, Jujutsu Kaisen, Blue Lock, DC, Ace of Diamond, Food Wars!, Detective Conan, and more.
General Fiction, Just Really Good
Well written
Otome-Style Fanfiction
Books I've read
Derivative Fiction with No Romance
My reading log. No idea why I can't give more of these five stars.
Fanfiction Recommendations
Fanfic authors are so likely to abandon their stories, so this list has both completed and unfinished works.
Some Fanfiction
It feels very faithful to the original, and it’s such good food. I bookmark things because I like them, but due to the System’s restrictions, I couldn’t give it a full five stars.
Some Fanfiction
Lots of fandoms, lots of pairings. Most are silly stories; there are no-CP and danmei works, and just a tiny bit of romance.
Derivative Fiction, Crossover with Marvel/DC or Anime (Mostly Free
They're all fanfics, like Grave Robbers' Chronicles and so on. For crossovers with the DC and Marvel universes, most are Batman's kids stories. I also read The Walking Dead, Detective Conan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Bungou Stray Dogs.
Fanfiction
Saved for myself; reread as many times as you like
Fanfiction Recommendations
All kinds of fanfiction, mostly pretty niche.
Archive
Keeping a record of books I’ve read for revisiting or avoiding. Four stars for good ones, one star for bad ones, and three stars for ones I’ve read but forgotten. This list is just for me.

Uh, how come I remember that in the settings I read eight hundred years ago, Caesar and Chu Zihang's blood levels were unable to use rage? Their bloodline is not recognized by the living beings in the sword and is rejected. Violent blood can only increase the bloodline concentration but not the bloodline level.
I only saw four, so will the identities of Lu Mingfei and Lu Mingze be revealed later?
Hahahahaha, it turns out I went to the racecourse to get money.
The big stage of the Dragon Clan, come if you are destined, hahahaha
It seems that this style of time-travel novels was really popular in the 2000s [bad laugh]
So in fact, Jormungandr here no longer regards this fallen snake god as an equal, but as a mortal who is not even a warrior who died in battle (he actually has some weird kindness and compassion. Is this the role of prayer)?
Damn it. When I read the original work, I just thought this word spirit was cool. I didn't expect the effect to be so scary to outsiders. Hahaha. It's so cool.
Okay, stop talking about you three dragons [dog head]
Hehe, such a concubine is also very fun.
Xiaolu pancakes are expanding...
