The Cannon Fodder Cauldron

Born with a furnace physique and an incomplete dual body, Yu Chen knew what would happen if he were discovered. He had learned from childhood to hide in the shadows, quiet and unremarkable.

In a dreamlike vision, he learned that Wen Qingheng, the eldest disciple of the master of Zihuang Mountain, would one day refine a rare Origin-Breaking Pill, a pill that could cure a furnace physique.

Everyone at Zihuang Mountain knew that its ranks were filled with talent. Wen Qingheng had extraordinary gifts and a boundless future. A gentleman, pure as jade and upright as bamboo, he was excellent in both character and appearance, the clear choice to become the next mountain master.

For this sliver of hope, Yu Chen set off for Zihuang Mountain. After a series of twists and turns along the way, his furnace physique was exposed.

Captured in despair, his heart reduced to ashes, Yu Chen discovered he had been sent to Wen Qingheng as a congratulatory gift. Their eyes met, and neither said a word.

"Junior Brother Yu, someone like you, with neither strength nor beauty, has nothing but a furnace physique. Using you for cultivation won't get anyone very far, and even after you're given away, you'll only be scorned. That's what people call cannon fodder." The junior sister of Zihuang Mountain looked him over and clicked her tongue with a sigh.

Criticized as utterly worthless, Yu Chen said nothing and slowly drifted into thought. Cannon fodder? That sounded pretty good.

Yu Chen knew Wen Qingheng had taken him in because his furnace physique had been exposed. Many people had seen him, and without protection, he could easily be targeted. Yu Chen was grateful.

He simply hadn't expected to stumble upon a secret.

Wen Qingheng held a beautiful person in his tent, in a scene of unrestrained sensuality. The beauty glared at his neck, seemingly gnashing their teeth in fury.

But Yu Chen needed his help, and had once wronged Wen Qingheng. He lowered his eyes and endured it in silence, unaware that in the man's eyes he looked like a beautiful person with tears in his eyes, meek and obedient.

1. No children.

2. The character is male in psychology, male in physiology and appearance, and has no physical issues. The other aspect of his dual body is a developmental abnormality.
