The Court Officials Can All Read My Mind

The shou transmigrates into a book, becoming a tyrant who won't live past three years. After that, the so-called male lead will lead a rebellion and kill him.

The shou was already lazy, and he really didn't want to get up at dawn and stay up late reviewing memorials. So he just gives up and decides to live out the three years according to the story, then die.

He has no plans to change or redeem the tyrant's personality or reputation. The political landscape will be completely overhauled in three years anyway, so he sees no reason to humor the officials.

But he never expected that the entire court could hear his inner thoughts.

Minister Wen: "Your Majesty, please grant me..."

Shou: [Ugh, what a hassle. They're both going to die in a few days anyway. I might as well find some excuse to execute them both now.]

Minister Wen: ...Please don't blame Young Master Ning, Your Majesty. It was just children squabbling, and my son was at fault too. My apologies, Marquis Ning.

Marquis Ning: No, no, my son was at fault too. I'll make sure he visits to apologize another day. I truly am sorry.

The ministers: ...

[Why does he have so many problems? He can't even handle something this trivial. Find an excuse to execute him and put someone else in his place.]

The official making his petition: ...

No, I can handle it. I have to, even if I can't.

[I can't resolve this either. Forget it, if I can't fix the problem, I'll get rid of him instead.]

The prime minister: ...

I can handle it too.

[I'm in a bad mood today. Maybe I should execute someone at random.]

The ministers: ?!!!

Wait, why is he in a bad mood? Who the hell upset him this time?!

Theme: Be ruthless enough, and others will be willing to back down.
