The proper title is "Free and Unrestrained Ambition (Female A, Male B)", also known as "Long Aotian's Father Rises in Status Thanks to His Daughter". A spin-off of the Free and Unrestrained Alliance series, and can be read on its own.
Blurb:
Feng Wumang, heir to the Mo clan, comes from a noble family, is handsome and brave in battle, and is the dream lover of countless young women. He is also brimming with confidence. In a storybook, he would be a protagonist like Long Aotian. And yet this very man goes to great lengths to marry into the Jiang clan. After all kinds of twists and turns, he finally gets his wish.
Later, someone asks him, "You gave up a brilliant future and settled for life behind the scenes. What were you after?"
"I did it for all the people under heaven. Do you believe me?"
"..."
"All right, I married into the Jiang clan because having a daughter would let me rule the world. Is there anything wrong with wanting to rise in status thanks to my daughter?"
Please note:
1. The story follows a Long Aotian-like character who marries into the Jiang royal clan as its prince consort, then rises to the pinnacle of success thanks to his daughter.
2. It has a slight gender-bender flavor. The characters' physical structures are basically normal. Female A and Male B are my own take, not the mainstream setting.
3. For other details, see the author's notes after the updated chapters.
