This Useless Beast-Eared Girl Is Actually a Human Nuclear Bomb?!

Liya, a beastfolk, transmigrated from the slums of an interstellar empire to an ancient forest with a beautiful environment.

She was a little weakling who often went hungry, but things were different here: delicious food was everywhere.

Liya decided to make her home here. Then one day, two uninvited guests barged in.

Gojo Satoru: Whoa, a real catgirl!

Geto Suguru: A dog? A wolf? Let me see!

Liya's ears flattened back, and the two scumbags stroked her fluffy tail over and over.

#What do you do if you find a wild catgirl?#

#Of course you bundle her up and take her home!#

And so Liya became the technical college's mascot. Feed her, and you earn the right to pet her. Liya sprawled happily on the ground.

Liya: Human, you have my permission to touch a wolf's tail!

Someone to brush her fur and meals to eat: this was home!

Everyone thought Liya was a poor little thing who had been abandoned in the wilderness by her family after awakening the ability to turn into a beastfolk.

Just look at how malnourished and skinny she was. It was obvious how weak she was.

Liya heard that Yokohama had a Chinatown with lots of food she had never tried.

So she took her little stash and ran off in secret.

She met Chuuya Nakahara, an executive who helped old ladies cross the street; Osamu Dazai, who loved trying to kill himself but could never die; and Ranpo Edogawa, who, like her, snuck out to eat pastries.

In return for all the food everyone gave her, Liya naturally offered up her fluffy tail, beloved by humans, and received rave reviews.

Her image as a useless little glutton who mooched food and drinks also became firmly established.

Until the day she was curled up in Oda's home and it came under attack.

"What are you going to do to the people who feed and shelter me?!"

Using her keen beastfolk sense of smell, Liya charged alone into the Mimic hideout.

"So you're the little punk who wanted to leave me hungry!"

Gide: ?

Osamu Dazai and Oda Sakunosuke, who hurried over, stared at their destination, now reduced to ruins, and fell into deep thought.

Everyone: Didn't you say you were useless?

Liya: I am! My mental strength is only F rank!

(Physical ability: SSS rank)

In the interstellar era, mental strength was the standard by which people were judged. In an empire where everyone had a mech, no matter how strong your body was, you couldn't beat a mech. She was just a useless little glutton.

Mori Ogai, whose plans had been ruined: ?

The Special Division for Unusual Powers, which had been worried sick: ?

The sorcerers who came to arrest her: ?

#Who understands the helplessness of your own child turning into a giant overnight!#
