Gu Jin, a celebrity who’s fallen to the bottom of the industry, is pressured by his agent to attend a business dinner. When he opens the private room door, he finds his ex-boyfriend, Xu Yi.

The man lounges on the sofa, smoking. His arrogant, flamboyant face looks sharply defined under the lights. When he sees Gu Jin enter, a flash of shock crosses his eyes. He pushes through the people crowding around him, then pins Gu Jin with his gaze.

After a long pause, he curls his lips into a mocking smile.

“Tsk. If it isn’t our big star. How’d you end up having to beg people for favors?”

Gu Jin is just as surprised. He never expected that the poor boy he’d dumped years ago would become a nouveau riche tycoon.

The people around them start egging them on.

The man spreads his hands and taps the wineglass on the table with a bent finger. “Go on. Drink this, and I’ll agree to your request.”

The man pins him against the restroom door, eyes dark with anger. “Who’s that guy? Your sugar daddy?”

Still remembering the humiliation in the private room, Gu Jin smiles coldly. “What’s it to you?”

“I’ve looked into him. That guy’s all flashy clothes and slicked-back hair, but he has no real skills! If you fall for him, you’re a dumbass!”

Seeing Gu Jin remain silent, Xu Yi grips him by the waist and kisses him.

“Dumbass!” Caught completely off guard by the kiss, Gu Jin slaps Xu Yi, turning his head to the side.

The man glares at him viciously, rubbing his cheek, then pulls a stack of bank cards from his pocket and shoves them into Gu Jin’s arms.

“You used to complain I had no money, didn’t you? Well, now I’m rich! You can have it all! Just stay away from that guy!”

Gu Jin looks at him coldly. “What are you trying to do?”

“I’m going to keep you!”

Xu Yi’s voice rings out from a luxurious mansion. “What? Someone’s trying to steal his spot in the industry? Throw money at it! Throw a lot of money!”

“Keep your voice down. You’re disturbing my sleep.” Gu Jin, lying in bed beside him, covers his ears with a pillow. His body is covered in suggestive red marks.

Xu Yi glances at his wife’s bare shoulder. “Ahem. Anyway, leave it to the marketing department and make sure they handle it. I’ve got something to do, so I’m hanging up.”

He happily leaps onto the bed. “Honey, can we do it one more time...”

“Bark like a dog and I’ll consider it.”
