We Broke Up at Dusk

They were together for seven years, from university through the start of their careers.

After yet another night when Chang Yunfeng came home reeking of alcohol, the food on the table had long since gone cold. Luo Yuchen smoked in the dark, and the two sat facing each other in silence.

A lock clicked on the guest room door soon after.

The unfinished painting of a sunset in the living room seemed especially glaring.

At daybreak, Luo Yuchen left the home they'd shared for four years, carrying the luggage he'd packed in advance.

On the twentieth day of his cold war with Chang Yunfeng, he asked to break up.

1. They spend some time apart.

2. Luo is the gong and Chang is the shou. The gong is younger, and the shou does not change.

3. A slow-burn story with imperfect characters. Both leads will grow.
