"Xue Qingyu"
Qingyu: "Drifting as if detached from the world, transcending mortality and ascending to become an immortal."
It suggests drifting as if one had left the mundane world behind, transcendent and independent.
His name evokes an ethereal, otherworldly aura, with an immortal's elegance and a cool, noble bearing.
Feathers suggest something illusory, cool and noble, while snow evokes a cold, immortal beauty, like the summit of a snowy mountain.
Xue Qingyu was born in an era when everyone cultivated immortality, and he did indeed become the first to ascend. He was an unparalleled young master raised among the nobility. He loved narcissus flowers and himself above all. Like an immortal in a painting, he was serene, graceful, and naturally refined. He was also a master of political scheming, able to navigate its games with ease, considering every step carefully and minutely.
His eyes held a distinctive calm, concealing countless calculations.
Every plan was like a chess game. He had already mapped out the situation in his mind and faced every challenge with ease.
Those who loved him were like wisteria flowers, lost in an intoxicating love, living for passion and dying for love.
They fell for someone who felt nothing, and soon found themselves unable to leave him.
Unable to win his heart or have him for themselves, they could only follow him and draw close, like moths flying into a flame.
Whatever happened, they flew toward the light willingly, even if it burned them to ashes.
Like the destined hero of a novel, Xue Qingyu grew up showered with favoritism. Everything went smoothly for him, and he had countless followers. Later, he founded his own path, though it was classified as the Path of Passion.
He created the Path of Passion, which was entirely different from such extreme and one-sided paths as the Path of Ruthlessness, the Path of Devotion, and the Path of Severed Love. The Great Way is without emotion, but the human world is full of feeling. Ruthlessness and feeling balance each other. One need not be devoted to understand love, wield it, or even become ruthless and cut off one's feelings. Yet very few can cultivate this path.
Though Xue Qingyu was the most powerful cultivator in the world, he had no Dao companion. He never felt lonely, however, and even enjoyed it. In this vast world, free of attachments, he could roam as he pleased.
Yet romance followed him everywhere, as all kinds of beautiful people and opportunities came his way. He accepted the opportunities, but had no desire to take responsibility for the beauties. To his surprise, they clung to him again and again, and no matter what he did, he could never shake them off.
Drunk on the mortal world, through tears and youthful wine, fine clothes and swift horses, romance and moonlit nights, nothing could ever hold him back.
He roamed freely between heaven and earth, wanting for nothing. If he wanted fine wine, he had it. If he wanted an opportunity, one appeared. Most of the beauties offered themselves to him, throwing themselves into his arms.
With one hand, he plucked flowers; with the other, he took lives. When his sword struck, the wind and snow withered. He gently brushed a petal, and the past was gone, its souls scattered.
Xue Qingyu lived freely and carelessly for a while longer, then ascended, leaving a crowd of followers gazing up at him.
(Don't worry about his family. Just know they're safe. He doesn't have to stay with them or keep them by his side. No one can hold him back.)
However, after ascending, he found that what awaited him was not the divine realm. On the way, he was bound by an unknown System, or rather, intercepted. Only later did he learn it was a "Sea King" System.
He didn't think of himself as a sea king. Besides, he could live freely wherever he went, and staying in a single world would be dull. If he agreed, he could choose from the vast multiverse. The answer was obvious.
