Boss Dazai Wants Me to Defect

Alvin, a blind Port Mafia executive, was feeding stray cats one day when he sensed a gloomy little mushroom drifting nearby. Unable to resist his curiosity, he reached out and touched the little mushroom. Only after his hand made contact did he realize it wasn't a mushroom at all, but a person: a young man fated to become the youngest and most terrifying leader of the Port Mafia, only to jump from a building several years after taking the position. At the time, Alvin thought, Whatever. It has nothing to do with me. I'm just a pitiful, lost, blind man from another world. - Several years later, the gloomy little mushroom came to find him and said solemnly, "Alvin, there's something really important I need to ask you!" Thinking of all the times he'd fed the little mushroom, Alvin nodded nonchalantly. "No problem. Who do you want dead?" The gloomy little mushroom smiled brightly. "What are you thinking, Alvin? Stop bringing up all this fighting and killing. Didn't we agree yesterday that we'd be good people together from now on?" Alvin: "?" Little mushroom: "Come on, pack your things. We're defecting from the Port Mafia!" Alvin: "??" Wait, what happened? Why had the person fated to become the future Port Mafia boss chosen to defect? And if you were going to run, fine, but what did you mean by dragging Alvin and his whole family along? Randon, Alvin's eldest brother: "Sigh. I told you not to be too nice to a scheming cat. Look, he's got you wrapped around his finger." Oda, Alvin's second brother: "So you like him, then." Nakahara, Alvin's third brother: "Aargh! Damn it, I knew that bastard was up to no good!" Edogawa, Alvin's second stray cat: "Heehee, and that's how the Port Mafia went down in flames!" - A certain bandage-wrapped fellow was absolutely certain that whether in the timeline where he became the Port Mafia boss, the one where he drifted outside Yokohama, or any of the N timelines where he tried every possible way to drown himself, there had never been an executive named Alvin in the Port Mafia. In this miserable world of endless loops, where nothing was new and nothing was unknown, he had met his first unexpected person who could break fate. He couldn't help wondering what kind of future this person would bring to the world, and to him. - *Also known as The Port Mafia's Utter Defeat. It's mostly romance, with little plot. *More or less a heartwarming, healing story about Boss Dazai getting infuriated eight hundred times a day before finally believing that true love exists (not really). In any case, this probably isn't the kind of Dazai pairing story people usually expect, so read with caution. *Top-focused, Dazai is the bottom. A short-to-medium story written for fun. The protagonist will remain blind, but his cheat is seriously overpowered. Theme: Stay true to your original intentions, and you'll reach the end
