Zhang Zimu's Samoyed has recently learned a new trick: opening doors by itself.

Whenever it gets restless, it opens the door and goes out for a stroll, always coming back covered in dirt.

Zhang Zimu looks helplessly at the trail of muddy paw prints throughout the house and his Samoyed's dirt-stained fur. Resigned to his fate, he bathes the little tyrant and mops the floor.

Then one day, while giving the Samoyed a bath, he realizes that his dog seems to have... put on a whole lot of weight!

Later, Zhang Zimu invites Zhou Xingyuan, a university underclassman who's just moved across the hall, over for dinner. The Samoyed takes one look at him, abandons Zhang Zimu, and starts circling the new neighbor.

Sure, Samoyeds are friendly by nature, but this is way too! Clingy! Even forgetting its own dad!

Zhang Zimu watches the man and dog playing happily together, then takes in the Samoyed's plumper figure. He feels deeply aggrieved.

Well, mystery solved.

His Samoyed has been posing as a stray and mooching dog food from the new neighbor for a whole month.
