The first essay prompt is complete!
Starting one day, something called the "CET-4 Question Bank" began quietly selecting college students at universities across the country who were slacking off in English. It pulled them into scenarios around the time of the CET-4 exam.
Shi Yu was planning to slack off in English as soon as he finished taking the CET-4.
The thought had barely surfaced before it was nipped in the bud.
Looking at the so-called "CET-4 Question Bank," Shi Yu complained, "This is a scam, absolutely a scam! They're using essay prompts as bait to lure us into an infinite-flow scenario!"
As a new test-taker, he was repeatedly sent into advanced essay scenarios.
The other test-takers bet he wouldn't last a day.
But then...
Shi Yu slapped his high-scoring "essay" in their faces.
The test-takers: ...That stings.
He Beiguan was an NPC in the question bank who scored and ranked the test-takers. One day, he happened to meet a "top student" with a perfect score in English who still wanted to slack off.
He Beiguan: Interesting. I'll play along.
But before long, he got himself caught up in it...
The CET-4 Question Bank's employees: Wait, why is the boss hanging out with a test-taker???
They thought that at least the boss would be on their side.
But it turned out the boss had already become utterly devoted to Shi Yu.
Shi Yu: That NPC just threatened me.
When Shi Yu wasn't looking, He Beiguan stepped outside and blocked the NPC's way, glaring coldly at it. "You think you can threaten him right in front of me?"
The NPC begged for mercy: Boss, he already beat me up!
He Beiguan: I don't believe you. He's just a newbie who only knows English. How could he beat you up?
The CET-4 Question Bank's employees: ??? Is there no justice?!
He Beiguan: Make yourself at home. Do whatever you want.
Shi Yu: Could we at least show a little respect for the rules?
He Beiguan: Then let's change the scoring rules. Give me a kiss, and I'll give you a high score on your essay.
Shi Yu: If I remember correctly, I can get a high score by clearing the scenario on my own, right?
He Beiguan: Oh no, my plan failed...
Essay prompts:
* Your friend wants to hear about your visit to an amusement park.
* Your friend wants to learn ink wash painting.
* Your friend wants to invite you on a trip to the desert.
* Your friend has invented a new game.
Reader's note:
* Both leads are strong! The shou needs a little guidance from the gong at first, but gradually grows and becomes stronger. The gong is already strong from the start!
* Although the gong is the NPC boss, they still have to clear the scenarios in the question bank.
* The gong only talks about changing the rules. The shou earns every high score through his own ability.
* The CET-4 Question Bank is fake, and it will eventually be completely destroyed.
* Scenario types: puzzle-solving and escape, card games, and rule-based horror.
Theme: Study hard. Don't slack off.
Come on↖(^ω^)↗
Dad, here I am again, wishing you a happy National Day!
Please! Please update quickly!
Damn, what kind of persona do you want to create? (Confused) What I feel now about Shi Yu is that he is smart in his studies and stupid in his behavior. Everyone around him is just trying to highlight the protagonist and promote the plot. He has no thoughts of his own and can only rely on what the protagonist says to make him understand. Attack means mastering everything. Because it's boring, just playing around. Then it's just a matter of being the gang leader, the gang leader, and the protagonist, and it doesn't matter to the others. But the expressions on their faces and some of their behaviors felt very stiff and abrupt. And there are very few descriptions of body movements. The environment and atmosphere are very bland. The above are just personal doubts and do not need to be taken seriously. You can delete it if you don't like it. Finally, cheers!
It feels like there are a few shots from the main and passive perspectives in this chapter, but there are more shots from the attacking perspective. Is this foreshadowing? Although the surrounding environment is described, there is no sense of immersion [crying] I feel that Tokiyo's character is more calm, and he is good at using his brain (this can be sensed here and in the copywriting). I think when Gong frowned and looked at the rabbit, Tokiyo should have some guesses... Of course, he can also pretend to be surprised. [Rubbing hands] Big cheers for the author! (I don't mean to be disparaging! Just my personal opinion. I just watched it)
