The Mighty Hero

Dear human,

I hope this letter finds you well!

Thanks for coming to read my story. I'm the brave, mighty hero. You can call me Big Hero, too.

I've lost count of how many days I've been in the human world. My owner always says, "A dog without dreams is no different from a salted fish."

I thought about it, and she's right. I've decided to be a dog with dreams--

I want a warm home.

I want to eat a big chicken leg every day.

I want to chase butterflies.

I want to roll around in the mud.

I want to be Xiao Mei's best friend.

I want to run beneath the setting sun with my owner.

I want to defeat General and claim that patch of land at the village entrance.

I want to be strong and healthy, and not have to take medicine.

I want...

If all these wishes come true, my life as a dog will be complete.

Just imagine how happy that would be.

I hope you all bravely pursue your dreams, too!

You be a dream chaser, and I'll be a dream-chasing dog. I hope we can both make our dreams come true.

Let's work hard together!

Best wishes: May your dreams come true!
