Those Three Months When She Was Sick

Actually poor, lecherous scoundrel vs. pretending-to-be-poor, devastatingly handsome guy

Sweet-talking chatterbox vs. sharp-tongued man with venom on his lips

After being diagnosed with brain cancer, Su Tang couldn't accept it.

To save enough money to put down roots in Shanghai, she'd only eat discounted vegetables and never travel far. She hadn't even had time to hold hands with a guy.

With her life running out, she was going to love herself properly.

In Lijiang Old Town, after getting tired of exotic delicacies, Su Tang set her sights on the owner of a guesthouse.

Cool and aloof, yet responsible; noble and handsome, like snow on a pine tree and the moon among clouds.

Especially after seeing his eight-pack abs, her hands kept itching to touch...

Rong Heng grabbed her wrist, his gaze dark.

Su Tang said with complete sincerity, "My hand says it wants to get to know you."

As a guest, Su Tang used her money to find every excuse to get close to Rong Heng.

That is, until the doctor called to apologize: the brain cancer diagnosis had been a mistake!

She lay in bed for a whole day without eating or drinking.

She'd thought the most painful thing in the world was dying before you'd spent all your money.

But it turned out the absolute worst was being perfectly fine and having no money to spend...

Su Tang could no longer play the rich lady. She left a "suicide note" and slunk back to Shanghai to look for work.

Not long after starting her new job, she was inexplicably summoned to meet the CEO.

In the top-floor office, the guesthouse owner had swapped his casual T-shirt for a crisp, fitted white shirt.

The man pushed her step by step against the floor-to-ceiling window, lifted her chin, and said with a mocking curl of his lips, "Did you come back from the dead?"
