It All Started with Looking for a Frog's Dad

Li Yang only wants to find his missing adoptive father, but gets stuck with a matchmaking System named Cuihua.

Cuihua: Join me and meet people who understand you. Don't be lonely anymore. Let's find the people whose souls resonate with yours.

Li Yang glances at the 108 underlings behind him and falls silent.

After Cuihua forcibly binds him, Li Yang fails in two novels before finally transmigrating into an old-school romance novel titled The CEO's Canary Actress, where he becomes a vicious male supporting character with the same name.

The supporting character relentlessly pursues the actress heroine and throws punches at the CEO hero. In the end, he is disgraced and written out of the story.

Cuihua: Let your true self shine. Build friendships and begin a new chapter in your life.

Li Yang thinks of the four male leads he's offended. There's no way those friendships will bloom. They'd love to scatter my ashes.

As he completes his missions, Li Yang discovers that his "friends" all have sides they keep hidden.

The CEO hero loves knitting sweaters, the sweet and innocent heroine is unbelievably strong, and the energetic athlete is a crybaby...

Li Yang: Compared to all of you, the male supporting character is pure as a child, exactly what he seems.

Just as Li Yang finishes his mission and prepares to leave, the hugely successful actor, who should have been written out early in the original story, fixes his dark gaze on him and clutches his arm.

"Are you going to leave me behind again?"

"Don't even think about it."

Li Yang: I worked so hard to build friendships, and somehow unlocked a romance route. Smiling.jpg

Reader's guide:

1. The attacker and recipient are both virgins, in a committed one-on-one relationship in body and mind.

2. A recipient who puts on a black-and-white facade and has a wild streak * an utterly dark, unhinged, clingy attacker.

3. Warning: Both leads have psychological issues, and often act illogically. Everything serves the plot.

4. The author often lets loose when having fun writing. If a character is out of character, that's my fault. I prostrate myself in advance.

5. Includes dating-show and entertainment-industry storylines.

Theme: Let's make friends! The more friends you have, the easier life gets!
