[Reborn] Where Did You Hide the Battery?

Don't look.

Here's the synopsis:

When I was struggling through hardship, stumbling in the mud, and covered in grime, I still ran toward you without hesitation.

[The Silly Version]

After being reborn,

The first time I ran into Yao Yuan, he was shining in the supermarket.

The second time I ran into Yao Yuan, he was shining on the school grounds.

The third time I ran into Yao Yuan, he was shining onstage.

Later, Shi Jia finally figured it out, struck by a sudden flash of inspiration: He's a walking light bulb! And he's rechargeable!

[The Serious Version]

On New Year's Eve, the two of them sat on the hospital steps. Shi Jia asked the boy beside her, “Does spring always come after winter? What if winter never ends?”

The boy was silent for a few seconds, then pointed to the sunflower in her arms. “Winter isn't over yet, but you've already bought a ray of sunshine. You're holding it right now.”

As they parted, the boy couldn't help asking her name. Shi Jia told him, “Next time.”

Later, Shi Jia held back her curiosity and tentatively asked his name. The boy gave her the same answer: “Next time.”
