[Reading Guide] Ancient-to-modern transmigration. A clever, cunning, all-rounder female lead who supports the team x a ruthless young general of few words
[Blurb]
In the State of Wei, during the third year of Ganlu, Emperor Ming set his sights on the Western Regions. He appointed Duting Marquis Du Sui as envoy with imperial authority, and the four generals Yao of Longxi, Yang of Hongnong, Peng of Wuwei, and Jiang of Baima accompanied him to support the campaign. They conquered the Western Regions and took all of Hexi.
That year, Ying Rong transmigrated. She had just moved her fingers and hadn't even opened her eyes when she heard someone beside her whisper, "...Remember, kill him. That's your mission. If you fail, you'll die without a proper burial."
After saying this, the person put a pill in her mouth. She choked and sat bolt upright.
Before she could even see where she was, she was thrown out of the carriage.
"I can't..."
"Figure it out yourself."
???
Ying Rong looked at the bamboo tube crushed beneath the horse's hooves. She fished a piece of paper, half-soaked and looking like greasy scraps, out of the ditch and examined it closely. "...Du?"
"Du what?"
Just then, someone behind her screamed in a panic, "The Du army is coming! Run!"
She stood up and saw a silver spear and white horse cresting the horizon.
A few things to know before reading:
1. I've always wanted to write about a young general. I'll give it a try, and if it turns out well, I'll start another book.
2. I may use a historical setting, but I'll also take plenty of liberties. It's mainly to let my imagination run free.
3. I'm bad at writing blurbs. Readers who've read my older works probably know my style. Anyway, I won't abandon this story. I'll make some adjustments to the blurb based on the outline before I start posting.
