A Xianzhou Life From Scratch [Honkai: Star Rail]

Jueming, disciple of the Luofu Sword Champion and a rising star among the Cloud Knights, owes much of his success to a mysterious die, though no one knows it. [Curio: Path Dice] Randomly rolls one Path and grants the corresponding abilities, but also gives the user a few “minor” side effects. For example Roll the Hunt: Revenge! Where do you think you’re running, Abominations of Abundance?! Roll Abundance: Losing my mind online, I’ve got konjac jelly! Wait, I’m the Abomination?! Roll Nihility: Xianzhou’s king of slacking off. Roll Destruction: Nobody gets to live! Everyone dies! Yes, the Path rolled affects the user’s mental state. The Sword Champion’s disciple, a genius rising star, a Cloud Knight Lieutenant, and future Divine General Jing Yuan asks every day: Is senior brother going berserk again today? … As a beta tester for the immersive game “Star Rail: Luofu,” Jueming was thriving in the game, with just one small problem. He’d only wanted to be a happy player, but ended up working for the Xianzhou for several hundred years. And he even had a side job! Several hundred years later, when the once-famous group reunited, they discovered Only Jueming and Jing Yuan had yet to retire :D Jueming: How did it come to this??? … He held a “miracle” seed in his hand, trading it for a certain future. After a long and winding journey, they would finally meet again. Bottom. Pairing: Jing Yuan Romance is a minor part of the story. The main focus is friendship, with lots of everyday moments. Slow burn, no secondary pairings. There will probably be some characters jumping to the wrong conclusions. The golden finger serves the plot, and the ending is happy. An unconventional fourth-wall-breaking player story. The game world is real, as far as the protagonist is concerned. A fanfic with extensive headcanons and an invented plot. Readers looking for meticulous canon research should proceed with caution. The core premise and blurb have been saved in a screenshot. Reader’s note: I’m an outline-but-no-stockpile writer with lots going on in real life, so updates are slow. I’ll try to update weekly, on weekends, and write more whenever I have time. Since the story began some time ago, a few plot points may differ from the game’s current canon. I’ll revise them after completing the story. [Anti-piracy: 50%.
