Blurb:
While others who transmigrate either bind themselves to a Scum-Tormenting System and rise to the top of the world, or bind themselves to a Farming System and build a thriving life, Tao Shuiyun transmigrates and binds himself to a Raising System...
The System contains nothing but a tiny, drab gray snake that needs feeding, cleaning, and looking after...
Fortunately, the System gives him ten million System Coins from the start, and the balance keeps growing whenever he lounges around... In other words, there's no limit to how many System Coins he can get, so he can spend them however he likes.
So he spends coins on a bowl of premium minced meat to feed the snake, a bathtub to wash it, and a crib to settle it in...
After spending coins for long enough, Tao Shuiyun successfully raises a drab gray snake into a golden dragon with horns and claws... And the dragon can level up, too.
With one level-up, the dragon baby becomes a big-headed chibi doll. With another, the dragon baby gains a personality and learns to speak! It turns out to be an emperor with a foul temper who constantly calls his subjects rabble! And after yet another level-up, the dragon baby even starts confiding in him!
Flooding across the province...
Is this little thing really worth making the baby so worried?
With a grand sweep of his hand, Tao Shuiyun buys a flood-control strategy from the shop and tosses it over.
A famine in Lin'an...
Tao Shuiyun clears out all the food in the shop and hands it straight to the baby.
Court officials at odds, feudal lords at loggerheads...
Tao Shuiyun tosses the baby a book on statecraft.
He thinks offhandedly that this dragon baby takes his emperor persona pretty seriously, working away so diligently.
Then the new Yongshun emperor begins issuing a series of policies, and they sound more and more familiar to Tao Shuiyun. Finally, he discovers to his shock that they are all from the book on statecraft he gave the dragon!
The new emperor not only announces a series of policies, but also posts notices across the country seeking a missing Imperial Preceptor, complete with a portrait.
To Tao Shuiyun's horror, he realizes the portrait is unmistakably of him!
The Regent's only son quit court overnight and took up a life of doing nothing. His ambitious but elderly father was so furious he nearly had a heart attack, yet could do nothing about it. Outside, people said power would soon return to the rightful line, and that the Regent's son was probably a lost cause.
Just as the new emperor rose to power and the Regent was preparing to retire to his hometown, the emperor showed up at his home with armed guards and made straight for the Regent's son. He clearly meant trouble. The Regent repeatedly begged for mercy and tried to earn the emperor's trust, insisting that his family only wished to return to a quiet life in the countryside.
As they spoke, they arrived in front of the Regent's son.
The young man looked up, froze for a moment, then called out to the ill-intentioned visitor: “Baby?”
Before long, the son who had been written off transformed into the Imperial Preceptor of the Yongshun Dynasty. Not long after that, the Imperial Preceptor also took on the role of Empress...
