Cultivating Immortality, Starting with Three Thousand Disciples

In the 243rd year of Bai Yujing, Lu Yingjian's master passed away.

Lu Yingjian became the last Human Immortal in the world.

Being a Human Immortal had no particular benefits.

It just meant an exceptionally long life and extraordinary strength.

But according to his master, Lu Yingjian's greatest weakness was his soft heart, an incredibly soft one.

Even as the old immortal lay dying, he worried Lu Yingjian would be tricked and deceived. So he took the initiative and left behind a will titled "Master's 99 Last Wishes (Revised Edition)."

The first wish: As the saying goes, among any three people, there is always someone who can be my teacher.

He wanted Lu Yingjian to have three thousand disciples and students all over the world!

Lu Yingjian: Huh? What?

The ninety-ninth wish:

He wanted Lu Yingjian to find meaning in life.

As a once-in-a-millennium demon lord of the Demon Realm, Chu Buwen became a demon after slaughtering an entire city. His fearsome name could make children across the Three Realms cry.

Chu Buwen was cold by nature. For a hundred years, his favorite pastime had been watching the resentful spirits he imprisoned dance at the Demon Sacrifice, held once every fifty years.

But even that had been a century ago.

The dull, repetitive song and dance had left Chu Buwen with little desire to attend this year's Demon Sacrifice.

Then a demon servant reported that a Human Immortal had broken in and was to be presented to him.

A Human Immortal.

Who did not know that a Human Immortal's blood could prolong life and their bones could help one attain the Dao? Every part of one was a treasure.

For once, Chu Buwen was intrigued, and decided to meet this audacious Human Immortal.

In a place dazzling with lantern light, their eyes met.

His heartstrings were thrown into disarray.

It was not love at first sight,

but the joy of seeing an old friend.

West of Bai Yujing, I hear no flute.

The Chu breeze bids farewell, as shadows fall at the edge of the sky.

Theme: Time is precious. Cherish it and love life.
