What Is the Hero Eating Today? [Western Fantasy]

Gade is a hero.

Well, a strange hero who's never left the starting village.

One day, the village elders finally couldn't stand his lie-flat, give-up-and-do-nothing attitude, and tossed him out of the village along with his sword.

Gade (sniffling): Weak, pitiful, helpless, and extremely good at eating.

Clutching a battered old greatsword, Gade set off on his adventure, utterly hopeless about life.

To awaken the demon king, who had been asleep for years, the demons crossed mountains and rivers until they finally found the perfect body.

Its owner was a strange hero named Gade.

The first time, they laid what they thought was a perfect ambush on Dragon Island.

A ferocious dragon dropped from the sky and stomped their men into meat pies.

The oblivious hero was still grinning. "Uncle Dragon! I'm over here!"

The dragon who had looked ready to gobble them up just a moment earlier smiled and waved at him, even letting this weak human climb onto its proud back!

The second time...

The third time...

At last, the demons seized an opportunity they were sure was foolproof, with no one around who could save him, and excitedly raised the soul-summoning artifact toward Gade.

But the useless hero hurriedly hoisted his battered sword.

And cleaved a ten-thousand-year-old divine artifact in two with a single strike!

The demons stared in disbelief, then rushed him in a desperate fight to the death.

But the strange hero who had seemed weak and helpless was now cutting down one demon after another with a single stroke, more easily than chopping vegetables!

The demons (trembling): Absurd! What a wicked human, pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger!

On his adventure, Gade met a companion who was a perfect match for him.

His companion was the first person ever to appreciate his cooking!

He even cried tears of joy while eating Gade's food! And he could wolf down in three seconds whatever Gade hadn't finished!

Gade was deeply moved and came to regard his companion as an indispensable friend.

Until one day, Gade accidentally learned his friend's true identity.

The legendary Demon King!

His best, most sincere, most discerning companion was actually the tyrannical Demon King famed for his bloodshed???

From that day on, Gade began secretly keeping an eye on his demon king companion
