The Entire Interstellar World Is Obsessed with Cats

In Star Calendar Year 57, the last small beast in the entire galaxy died.

From then on, only large predators remained in the beastfolk galaxy.

By Star Calendar Year 556, beastfolk of all races had grown accustomed to communicating through the ways of the great beasts.

And due to genetic selection, their offspring had long since lost their childhood years.

Words like "small beast" and "cub" were nothing more than cold concepts in history books.

But five hundred years after small beasts went extinct, Jiang Fan was discovered in a remote star system.

A cub of a species called "cat."

*

The cat had no name.

On the wasteland, food was the most precious resource.

The cat's mother died before he had even made it through his cubhood.

The cat waited for death on a rainy night.

But when he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a completely different place.

Here, even the trash cans were stuffed with precious food!

The palm-sized kitten wolfed it down, mumbling through a mouthful, "Food... food!"

At some point, the number one trending topic on StarNet became the same every day.

The greetings exchanged by beastfolk of all races also strangely became identical.

#Have you cuddled a cat today?!#

#I have! What about you?!#
