[Reborn!] Solar Flare

I like Nagi.

Ah, please don't misunderstand. I like Nagi only as a friend. She's a wonderful girl: gentle, shy, considerate of others, with a pair of beautiful, clear eyes. Even when she's been hurt, she doesn't lash out at or take revenge on others. Of course, sometimes I think she cares so much about other people that she can't learn to stand up for herself. She's delicate and kind.

I don't think of myself as a savior or a judge, and my power is limited, but when I realized she was constantly being bullied and ignored, I decided to help and protect her.

Everything was fine. Nagi soon came to trust me, and became my friend. But after that, on the day she got into a car accident and miraculously recovered, Nagi was coughing because she felt unwell. I instinctively reached out to help her catch her breath, but she reflexively dodged my hand. Coughing and flushed with a faint, involuntary blush, she looked at me with a sharpness I'd never seen before.

That wasn't Nagi, but "she" was still so weak and so pitiable.

So I still pulled "her" close and helped "her" catch her breath.

I told "her," "Whatever happens, I'll help you. Don't be afraid."

Everyone knows that if you want Kawakami Kawayo to pay attention to you, all you have to do is appear in front of her looking fragile and soft.

But no one knows how to win her love.

Reading notes:

1. I dreamed up this setting and it was so delicious that I had to write it for fun. The female lead is a very gentle, helpful, fearless, trusting, sunny, and genuinely good person. On top of that, she's an exceptionally forceful leader. She sincerely treats others well and believes everyone is equal. But she also thoroughly believes that everyone is weaker than she is, and considers them all equally to be little animals who sometimes need her to step in firmly and treat them gently.

2. Ninety-nine percent of the female characters are won over as soon as they appear, and ninety-nine percent of the male characters come free. Don't expect much from a story written for my own enjoyment. It's indulgent, cheesy, and illogical. I'm writing a female lead like this, so cut me some slack.

3. I don't know when I'll update. The whole story should be in first person, with occasional perspective shifts for side descriptions. The name is divided as Kawakami Kawa / Yo. Her attributes should be Sunny / Sky. She won't only appear in 9669, and probably won't enter the main plotline. There are lots of personal headcanons, like Nagi attending Koharu Girls' School. There are more male characters than female ones, so I chose the romance category, but there will definitely be a yuri storyline. The ending, if I actually manage to write that far, will probably have no couple.

4. The female lead will calmly accept and respond to both direct advances and hints, but she will always reject confessions, and her attitude won't change afterward. People don't abandon a puppy just because it rubs against them while it's in heat.

5. This isn't necessarily something you need to know, but the surname comes from my OC Kawakami Sakuyuki. The basic character concept is a being Sakuyuki created using the power of a solar flare. I may or may not write about it, but at the root of things, she can indeed be said to be greater than human.

Theme: The sun is high above us, the sun is warm beyond measure, and the sun cannot be resisted.
