Love Is a Battlefield

Duan Cheng is a powerhouse at the Fix-It Shop. She stops at nothing to get the job done, and her success rate is a perfect 100 percent.

One day, her target becomes a wealthy young man suffering from a terminal illness.

With his life nearly over, the young man has never experienced a beautiful romance. His family comes to her, asking her to give him a fulfilling life.

Duan Cheng is moved to tears, but there's a problem: she's been single her whole life and doesn't understand romance at all.

Still, that's no big deal. According to theory, love is nothing but dopamine, endorphins, serotonin, adrenaline, and other substances tricking the cerebral cortex.

She has never dated anyone, but now she's a top-tier romance coach, and with a flourish of her pen, she takes on the job.

But this rich young man is so picky and demanding it's appalling. One after another, Duan Cheng's top operatives make excuses and flee their dates before half a day has passed.

The sweet girl next door is fair and delicate. At the amusement park, the rich man makes her try the strength tester.

The sexy older woman has seduction down to a fine art. When the rich man asks for help, she thoughtfully turns his crop top into a curtain.

The big-eyed cutie has irresistible doe eyes. The rich man silently compares the top of her head to his knee, then bursts out laughing.

Date plans fail one after another. As the rich man's life ebbs away, the enormous commission is about to slip through her fingers. Duan Cheng grits her teeth and steps in herself!

Rich man: You really think you can pull it off with those disastrous date plans? I'm dying of illness, not stupidity.

Love is a battlefield. It takes strength, brains, luck, and stamina... For money and the perfect date, Duan Cheng descends like Cupid, sweeping aside every obstacle.

Under this relentless assault, the little gavel the rich man wants to use to declare their date a failure refuses to come down. He thinks, I'm going to die soon anyway. Maybe I should be generous toward this foolish world for once.

But just then, the scythe of death is put away, and the rich man's demise is postponed indefinitely. He's back in fighting form in a flash, ready to throw himself into the battle with all his heart and make Duan Cheng give up first and tear up the contract.

Theme: Fill the world with love.
