Stealing My Childhood Friend's Beautiful Wife

Lu Qiao had always known that his unlucky childhood friend, Shen Chuan, had a beautiful wife.

His beautiful wife was named Mu Xingchuan. He had graduated from the music department at the prestigious H University, had a successful career, and was gentle and considerate at home.

Knowing what a scumbag Shen Chuan was, Lu Qiao had often wondered while studying abroad how someone so beautiful could be blind enough to fall for Shen Chuan.

Then, on the night Lu Qiao returned from his studies abroad, he met Mu Xingchuan for the first time.

The wind howled. Shen Chuan and another boy were tied up on the rooftop, shivering and teetering on the edge.

Mu Xingchuan, the "gentle househusband" Shen Chuan was always talking about, wore a black designer suit and had a cigarette in his mouth. With a cold expression, he stood on the rooftop and playfully pressed the sole of his dress shoe against Shen Chuan's head.

Shen Chuan, who had bullied Lu Qiao since childhood, was bawling like an idiot. He'd just managed to cry, "Wife!"

Then Lu Qiao watched Mu Xingchuan pull out a knife, give a cold laugh, toss away his cigarette, and silently start cutting the rope binding Shen Chuan.

Lu Qiao, who had been watching for a while: "..."

A truly gentle beauty.

To keep Shen Chuan from getting himself killed, Lu Qiao cleared his throat and said three things to Mu Xingchuan:

"Beautiful big brother, don't be scared."

"Shen Chuan and I are brothers, but only on the surface."

"I'm way better than Shen Chuan. I'm... I'm still a virgin. Why don't you divorce Shen Chuan and marry me instead?"

Under the beauty's icy gaze, Lu Qiao steeled himself and called out, "Wife?"

At that moment, the unhinged beauty dropped the knife and nodded at Lu Qiao with gentle shyness. "Mm."
