After Secretly Bringing Home the Mermaid I Found

Lu Yi is a little scientist whose dream is to have a little mermaid of his very own. The mermaid should have a beautiful, pearlescent tail fin and pale, translucent pointed ears. Soft and sweet, super cute! On the night of his eighteenth birthday, Lu Yi made a birthday wish. The next day, he found a mute mermaid on the beach, covered in wounds, with a battered tail and a vicious disposition. Lu Yi: “L-little mute fish?” Meeting the mermaid's wary gaze, Lu Yi said, “Even though you're not pretty or gentle, and you can't talk, I'm a good owner.” From then on, Lu Yi brought the vicious little mute fish home. From that day onward, Lu Yi's formerly peaceful life underwent many changes. A dreamy girl idol with a pink tail, a gentle male professor with a blue tail, and a sunny, handsome CEO with a white tail all entered Lu Yi's life. Years later, Lu Yi had become a goodwill ambassador for peace between humans and merfolk, and was engaged to the merfolk emperor. “At first, I just wanted to keep a fish.” The merfolk emperor standing beside Lu Yi scowled. “Yeah. We can totally turn them into dead fish.” Gentle genius little scientist top Aloof, ruthless, ascetic merfolk emperor bottom Theme: Merfolk are the cutest, and keeping fish is the happiest
