The Vongola Outside Advisor Is Taking an Extra Year at Police Academy

[Hunter Rye, not Conan's Akai!]

Every year at the start of the academy's school term, a story makes the rounds:

At this six-month school, there's a senior who fails every exam and always gets into trouble before graduation!

Year after year, he has practically become part of the school history museum.

*

Two-star Hunter Rye is the strongest-ever outside consultant of the Vongola from a parallel world...

And yet, he's also the academy's strongest repeat student.

He punches a hole through the training field, defuses bombs by instinct, and shoots so badly he only grazes the outline of a person...

This dangerous delinquent can't pass his exams, but he's also a Public Security partner. They can't expel him or kick him out, and they certainly can't gamble with the lives of civilians or enemy combatants (?).

*

Year after year, until he finally becomes classmates with the five-petal crew!

The good-for-nothing has finally risen!

Zero: I'll handle shooting lessons.

Matsuda: I'll handle bomb-disposal lessons.

Hagi: Maybe... I'll handle the research papers?

Hiromitsu: I could probably teach English, too!

Class President: I'll take care of the rest! The five petals will have no weak spots!

*

Rye: QAQ Can I finally graduate?

Rye: But other people graduate and become unemployed. I graduate and become a double agent!

Rye: Can I stay back for one more year? QAQ

The five: ?

As for the pairing: probably everyone has a one-sided crush, but there's no pairing in the ending. A short story, serving as a lead-in to "It's Rye, Not Akai."

Theme: Crack down on crime and evil!
