My Senior Brother Suddenly Became So Attentive

Yu Nuan was an ordinary cultivator with mediocre talent and little drive.

Her master had only agreed to take her in because she had seen him beaten black and blue, and he wanted to keep her from blabbing about it.

Yu Nuan was well looked after by her Seventh Senior Brother in the sect. Everyone said she was so lucky to have caught his eye.

Yu Nuan used to think so too, if only her Seventh Senior Brother hadn't treated her like a servant.

Her Seventh Senior Brother once said, "With your aptitude, there's no point in cultivating any further. Rather than waste your time, you might as well wait for me to protect you someday."

Yu Nuan said nothing.

But then she ran into the aloof and proud Eldest Senior Brother, who asked coldly, "You're Yu Nuan?"

"When people insult you, can't you insult them back?"

"If you don't have talent, does that mean you can't work hard?"

"I can tell you this: Seventh Junior Brother won't treat you well in the future."

"Yu Nuan, are you choosing Seventh Junior Brother or me?"

Yu Nuan: Hadn't I never even met Eldest Senior Brother before? Wasn't he always too proud to say more than a few words to people like us?

Why was Eldest Senior Brother suddenly so eager to teach her to take cultivation seriously?

How had she ended up having to choose between Eldest Senior Brother and Seventh Senior Brother just by cultivating?

Years later, Xu Wan had mastered incredible abilities and was filled with spiritual power.

Seventh Senior Brother: Nuan Nuan, I was wrong. You were always the one I loved.

Yu Nuan looked back at Eldest Senior Brother and sent him a message: Is he sick or something?

Eldest Senior Brother replied coolly: Deal with him, or you'll regret it when we get back.

Reading Notes:

· I haven't written anything before, so I'm just giving it a try. The setting is entirely my own.

· This isn't a story with an all-powerful heroine. Neither the male nor female lead is perfect.

Theme: Hard work can make up for a lack of talent
