I'm a Volleyball Coach

[Announcement] The main story is complete! Bonus chapters will be updated sporadically as a thank-you! After being reborn, Tianhai Shu, a retired national team coach, becomes an outside hitter on the US men's volleyball team. Hoping to continue his dream of coaching in this life, he decides to travel to Japan, where he unexpectedly gains the World-Class Coach System. Worried he won't find students who love volleyball? An orange-haired puppy stops him on the way: "Coach! Can you teach me that 'whoosh-bam' move today?" One night, he walks into a park and comes across a middle blocker trying to wipe away his tears: "Please tell me how to beat those geniuses!" He goes for a jog at dusk and runs into a tall figure muttering, "A good sapling should grow in fertile soil, Mr. Soil." Even when he goes on vacation in Tokyo, he somehow gets pestered by an owl and a cat! In his previous life, he was a setter on the national team of China. After being reborn, he is an outside hitter on an American high school boys' volleyball team. No pairing. Tianhai is devoted to teaching students and playing volleyball. An exceptionally strong character who is an all-rounder in volleyball, but won't play in official matches. In this parallel world, everyone is better than in the original (or, rather, their potential is more fully realized). The author hasn't watched many volleyball matches and will refer to some match videos. The writing leans impressionistic. There will be some everyday-life scenes. The timeline starts three years before Spring High, when Hinata is in his second year of middle school. At first, most of the story takes place in Miyagi, where he works as a coach for Aoba Johsai. Original characters will gradually appear later. A few tips: 1. This is the author's first work after a two-year break from writing. If you don't like it, please click the top-left corner and we'll meet again another time! 2. This story will change the course of history!! It's very different from the original, very, very different. Please take note if that bothers you!! 3. Please feel free to point out typos and bugs, and small writing suggestions are welcome. I'll have to decline major rewrites and nitpicking. 4. Please don't mention other books in the comments here, and don't mention this story in the comments of other books. 5. I'm truly grateful to everyone who supports me!! Your author loves you! Theme: Boys, fly ever higher.
