Yuki Takahashi coaxed Tsukishima, her childhood friend from the volleyball club, into appearing as the second male lead in the film club’s production.
During every fifteen-minute shoot,
Tsukishima showed off all “eight virtues” to the fullest.
Toward Yuki Takahashi,
he was “kind.”
“If you keep acting so full of yourself, I can’t promise I’ll come help you next time.”
He was “forgiving.”
“Since you’re the club president, you’re always writing in the activity log, assigning tasks, and dealing with a pile of annoying things. It’s only natural you’d forget I was waiting for you.”
He was “eager to learn.”
“That’s amazing. Could you teach me how to get a perfect score in modern literature and a twelve in math?”
He was “humble.”
“Right, right. I’m worst at dealing with idiots like you.”
He was “honest.”
“I left something here. I didn’t come all this way to see you.”
He was “reasonable.”
“Can’t the little monkey just jump up there? Why do you need me to help again?”
He was “polite.”
“Could you please stop giving me the cookies you burned? Thanks.”
When Yamaguchi got the sudden urge to “visit” his childhood friend on set, he realized something was off. “Is Tsukki filming a rom-com?”
He was “emotionally stable.”
Tsukishima: “...Shut up, Yamaguchi.”
Yuki: “No, it’s...”
Tsukishima: “...You shut up too.”
Club member Sato: “Tsukishima always sounds and looks so annoying. I can’t believe you haven’t fallen out with him yet, Yuki. You’re so patient.”
Yuki Takahashi smiled. “Haha, he just can’t win, so he says sarcastic, nasty things.”
Yuki, convinced she had her childhood friend figured out, teased him recklessly in their everyday life. “You don’t have to be embarrassed, Tsukki. I understand you, and I won’t get mad.”
This time, though, he raised one eyebrow and leaned closer.
He braced one hand against the wall, trapping her in the narrow space. Then he lowered his head, his normally cool eyes turning sharp. “...Is that so?”
Yuki Takahashi: “!!!”
- Yuki Takahashi: Film club president, anti-sentimentality expert, level-ten scholar of Tsukishima-speak.
- Her special move: smiling through every verbal attack and firing back with a teasing remark.
- Now she’s the one in a tight spot: her sharp-tongued childhood friend has suddenly... made a move on her.
What should she do now!!!
* Everyday romance.
* Probably mutual pining and daily doting on each other (?)
* Just writing for fun. If it’s not for you, feel free to run away.
Theme: Ta-da-da-da, I haven’t thought of one yet!
