My Male Classmate Was Possessed by My Puppy

The main story is told in third person.

The dog at home suddenly went quiet. I took him to the vet, but they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was worried, but all I could do was go to school as usual.

I had just settled into my seat, still fretting, when that try-hard guy with the icy face suddenly bounded in from the doorway and threw himself at my feet. I jumped in fright and quickly kicked him away.

The dog had no idea why his owner suddenly hated him, so he could only quietly return to his seat.

His fuzzy brain seemed to understand that he couldn't act so affectionate toward his owner in front of his classmates. He could only sneak off to lick her face and fingers when no one was around.

I gradually realized that the dog had replaced the try-hard guy. It was strange, but I couldn't bring myself to neglect the dog, so sometimes after school I secretly took him home. Just like before, I fixed him a bowl of dog food and played frisbee with him.

But what I didn't know was that the try-hard guy hadn't been completely replaced.

Whenever my soul drew close to the dog's, whenever I stroked his fur, whenever the dog used his body to lick me, he could feel it all vividly, yet he couldn't stop it.

In the end, the dog's soul finally returned to its rightful place, and everyone was happy.

When I passed the try-hard guy at school again, a wicked idea suddenly came to me.

I was just about to speak when the try-hard guy sprang to my feet with a clatter, acting on reflex.

Oh, dog.

Reader's guide:

1. A lighthearted, sweet story (in my opinion), though I still recommend that fans of the male lead steer clear. Everything in the novel serves the author's personal tastes.

2. The heroine is a narcissist, like a narcissus admiring her reflection in the water.

3. No teenage dating. The heroine has a whole host of one-sided admirers.

Theme: Everyone has a duty to care for animals
