I Was Possessed by Myself

[No inspiration, updates whenever I can.]

Ying You opened a door and couldn't find the way home.

The world beyond the door was full of danger. As he lay dying, he met a monster who was just as lost.

It was him from a parallel world, lost in the endless expanse beyond the door for years. Pain and despair had transformed him into something inhuman, into "It."

Ying You survived by becoming a host to "It," and parts of another being took root in his body and soul.

Ying You: ...

Life's ups and downs really do come out of nowhere.

A strange manual was opened.

["Care and Feeding Rules for Nonhumans■■ / BY Ying You"

Rule One: You must not die, or It will make you die again and again.

Rule Two: You may call It "my other self (blacked out)" or "friend." You may also use other names if It likes them.

Rule Three: You must believe that It will never hurt you, no matter the circumstances, even if It calls you "delicious."

P.S. These rules apply only if your name, identity, and soul belong to a human named Ying You.]

New addition

["A Guide to Caring for the Human Ying You / BY ■■"

Rule One: You must respect his will.

Rule Two: When you genuinely sense "life" in him, expressing kindness and affection as much as you can will improve your relationship.

Rule Three: He is yours!

P.S. These rules apply only after you have found him.

P.P.S. ... He's more perceptive than you think. Perhaps you should tell him what the two of you are to each other as soon as possible.]

◤Notes◢

◆ A narcissistic romance, a supernatural adventure with a jumble of elements. There's a bit of everything.

◆ Ying You doubts and speculates about the identity of "his other self" until he finally figures it out. So although the protagonist's profile already lists the name Ying Huo, that name won't appear right away. Please understand ●v●

Theme: The possibilities of the world are infinite. Enjoy life!
