My Brother Was a Fake Young Master, Then Became My KPI

Zhou Gu is a fake young master, and Xu Qi is the real one.

As in every wealthy family, the fake and real young masters don't get along.

It's just that the Zhou parents love their biological son and detest the fake one in every way.

In his previous life, Zhou Gu's parents both died.

So before he came of age, Zhou Gu became Xu Qi's plaything.

The real young master's personality was vile, and he was a master schemer. Finally, at the age of twenty-one, just as Zhou Gu had begun to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry and thought a new life was within reach, he was ruined. On a survival variety show, the real young master framed him and sent him falling into the sea. He died without a body to bury.

When he opened his eyes again, he was reborn at twenty, on the day he and Xu Qi got into a fight and had a car accident. This time, he was determined to take back everything!

Xu Qi descended to the mortal realm. The tribulation cloud, which had been in seclusion for thirty thousand years, opened its eyes, and the human world had changed completely.

Where were the cultivators who got struck by lightning?

They were his adulthood KPI!

Every tribulation cloud strikes people. One that doesn't is no fun.

Xu Qi didn't want to become a disgrace to tribulation clouds everywhere, so he opened his eyes.

A program was playing on the TV, featuring an Immortal Venerable from the Three Realms. Xu Qi's eyes lit up. Someone to strike!

Smack!

Zhou Gu's parents are hitting Zhou Gu in his hospital room. Xu Qi turns his head and looks. The Immortal Venerable?

The TV show: Confirmed, it's him!

Xu Qi gets out of bed and hugs him on the spot: "Immortal Venerable!"

Zhou Gu: "?"

The Zhou parents: "???"

Later, Xu Qi is always clinging to Zhou Gu.

Zhou Gu thinks it's some new ploy, so Xu Qi goes with him on a variety show.

Zhou Gu: Hmph, same old trick. Just you wait!

Rumble. That night, Zhou Gu returns to his room and lifts the covers.

Xu Qi: "Big brother, do you cultivate immortality?"

Zhou Gu: "..."

Xu Qi seems to have gone a little crazy.

But later, on the variety show, when people mock Zhou Gu for being a fake young master,

Rumble! They get struck by lightning?

Netizens: "What kind of weather is this?"

His rival deliberately spreads damaging rumors, and then, rumble!!

Netizens: "What in the world is that?!"

The production crew tries to trip them up?

Xu Qi lets the thunder rumble away.

When it's all over, he says, "People should be mindful of the karma they accumulate."

Netizens: "??? This is freaky!"

There has to be something going on here!

Xu Qi, who's realized that Zhou Gu has the constitution of a house beneath a lightning rod: "Ahhhhh! There has to be something going on here!"

Could it be... the Immortal Venerable is blessed with merit?

That won't do. Xu Qi is the sort of person who only feels that his life as a tribulation cloud is complete once someone gets struck. So he gradually works his way into the Immortal Venerable's heart.

Although Xu Qi is the one who gets hurt, sometimes the Immortal Venerable gets a pleasant tingle, too!

Long after the program ends.

Zhou Gu hasn't taken revenge after being reborn, only because Xu Qi is crazy. Zhou Gu is too civilized to do anything about it, and figures he may as well humor the crazy guy. Then one day...

Zhou Gu: "My fingertips are on fire?"

Xu Qi, ecstatic: "Ahhhhh! I knew it! The Immortal Venerable has finally let the truth slip!"

Zhou Gu: "Has the world gone mad?"

The Special Ability Bureau's staff come to their door.

They look at Xu Qi: "Senior, we've finally found you!"

The only tribulation cloud in the world. Whoever he strikes ascends to immortality!

A crowd of juniors at the bureau are waiting in line.

Zhou Gu (not crazy, but...): "Where did these lunatics come from? Are they trying to steal my wife?"
