My Ex-Husband Says He's Still Salvageable

In the cultivation world, legend has it that the first thing you should do after ascending is kill the person you love. Yan Shiyu never imagined that one day he would be one of those ill-fated lovers.

Luckily, there was still a way out. Just before he died, a passing senior from the System picked him up.

After diligently keeping his head down as a wage slave for ages, he finally retired and got the chance to start over.

His colleagues at the Bureau all worried that he was hopelessly lovesick. Who would have guessed he’d storm back with a sword in hand, ready to beat the scumbag senseless and teach him exactly why the flowers in this world are so red?

But after starting over, he couldn’t find his scumbag ex. Instead, an adorable little dragon cub showed up and stuck to him.

Fellow cultivators challenge you? Bite them back. Villains make trouble? Bite them back! Someone frames you? Slam them to the ground! Do you think you can lay a hand on my wife?

Everyone thought he was about to fall for someone else. His ex’s score didn’t go down, and the little Candle Dragon kept trying to win him over.

What’s so great about someone who’d kill his wife to prove his Dao?

A heartless bastard deserves to be hacked to pieces.

Big brother, let’s stop looking at him, okay?

But no one expected him to take human form one day.

First, he said, "Big brother."

Then Yan Shiyu raised his sword and smiled. "So that’s why I couldn’t find that scumbag. He was hiding right here, waiting for me."

Candle Dragon: ?

So the scumbag he’d been looking for all this time was himself? When did that happen? No, wait, let me explain.

After a thorough beating, long-buried memories gradually returned.
