Li Qingxiao, a C-list actress, takes on an unusual job: playing the fiancee of the Xiao family's younger son.

Apparently, the younger son, Xiao Jiyue, had a minor accident, and his memories are stuck a year in the past.

Back then, he and his fiancee hadn't broken up yet.

So the Xiao family approached Li Qingxiao, a talented actress still struggling to make it out of the C-list.

"While you're playing her, you'll enjoy the same status and privileges she has in the Xiao family."

The man before her had a cool, indifferent look, and spoke calmly but earnestly. "I'll make you famous."

As a professional actress, Li Qingxiao gives this unusual job her all.

Her client, by comparison, seems far less at ease.

Gradually, Li Qingxiao can't help wondering what he's really after.

One time, after drinking, she acts on impulse and finally asks him.

"Why me?"

"Is it really just because we look alike?"

Xiao Jichuan pauses, takes the glass from her hand, and evades the question. "You've had too much to drink."

Later, she accidentally discovers his browsing history.

Every entry has something to do with her.
