A Summer Mix-Up

- The thing Yao Ke regretted most that summer was wearing a fitted shirt that day. It was one of the main reasons for the whole misunderstanding. - Yao Ke first met Fang Qixu on the subway. It happened to be her roommate's birthday, and a few friends who hadn't seen each other in a long time got together for a feast. With the lively atmosphere and her roommate urging her to eat, she managed to stuff herself full. But in her wildest dreams, she never expected this to result in someone giving up a seat for her!? The man glanced only once at her noticeably rounded belly before standing up without hesitation. “Take my seat.” Just then, the train arrived at the station. She never expected him to become her client. Yao Ke had just finished bragging to the security guard that she had two children at home. When she saw Fang Qixu coming to deliver her employee ID, she instantly fell apart. “...” Well, that was sudden. After their inexplicably awkward phase passed, they turned out to work together surprisingly well. And the consequence of doing too well at work was that she'd completely forgotten about that misunderstanding. Until her period came, and this man said something astonishing. “Did you... have a miscarriage?” Yao Ke, with no will to live: “...” Let's just destroy the world. - That night, Yao Ke posted an update to her social media feed A misunderstanding doesn't always lead to social death. Sometimes it can lead to a boyfriend. - Theme: Live well
