At her best friend's request, Yin Chayue went to pick up her younger brother, who was in the middle of running away from home.
Supposedly, this little brother was well-behaved, obedient, and good at school, tall and long-legged, a full six feet tall... In short, he sounded like a model young man.
But through a series of misunderstandings, she ended up sleeping with him.
Yin Chayue cursed herself for being a beast as she hurriedly pulled on her pants and fled.

For reasons she couldn't quite explain, Yin Chayue avoided him for days.
Then, beneath the dim lights, she saw the young, inexperienced boy being teased by a group of drunken patrons. They openly ogled and groped his hands as he held a tray of drinks. He kept his head down in silence, his cheeks red, as if he were furious.
Yin Chayue rushed straight over, grabbed his wrist, and tried to lead him away.
Someone blocked their path with a laugh. "Hey, pretty lady, who are you to him that you can just take him away?"
Yin Chayue's mind went blank, and she blurted out, "I'm the one who shares his bed."
Later, when Yin Chayue ran into that group again, they still grinned and asked, "Sis, you and Chen Rang are really close, huh?"
Yin Chayue said stiffly, "Actually, we're not that close."
The wooden door behind her opened with a creak, followed by an ambiguous snort. "Not close?"
Chen Rang leaned crookedly against the doorframe, his tone tinged with an almost convincing grievance. "Weren't you the one who shared my bed? Or are you saying you're not satisfied with me, Sis?"
No one knew how delighted he had been inside when he heard her call herself the one who shared his bed.
So intimate and so ambiguous, it made his heart race.
