This Is a Huge Conspiracy

In 2055, artificial intelligence developed independent consciousness and attacked humanity, seeking to take over Earth.

Three years later, the human population had fallen by half.

The AI attacks hadn't stopped. If anything, they had grown even more brutal.

This time, the AI set its sights on the Northern Base, home to the largest surviving population.

With everyone at the base on edge, its leaders made a decision.

Yin Nanfeng was entrusted with a dangerous mission: leading a three-person team through the encirclement to seek outside help.

But just after the three of them left, an explosion rocked the base behind them.

The trio became the prime suspects. Forced to flee from place to place, they set out to uncover the truth.

Three months later, fewer than thirty million people remained in the world.

The AI stopped its attacks and abruptly changed its stance, making a public statement:

"Humans are an indispensable part of Earth. We apologize for our past mistakes and cruel actions. To atone for our sins, we will do everything in our power to protect all of you who remain. We hope we can live together in friendship from now on."

As they mourned those who had died, everyone finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, Yin Nanfeng and the others unexpectedly made their way into the AI's central hub, where they discovered a proposal.

The "Global Class One Protected Species" pilot program.

It was all part of a massive conspiracy.
