Who Will Remember the Runner-Up?

[Laid-back heroine who gets things done x cautious, loyal, timid hero]

The day He Yuyao confessed to her, Sang Qiyan was shaken to the core.

Once she'd calmed down, she drew on her past experience and told He Yuyao, "We can date, but we have to agree on three rules: no kissing, no intimacy of any kind, and we only date for three months."

He Yuyao happily agreed, but he had one condition of his own.

"Don't break up with me."

There was once a topic online: Who remembers the runner-up?

He Yuyao felt he could answer that question quite well.

Because he was the third-place finisher who could never catch up to Sang Qiyan, no matter how hard he pursued her. He was always behind her, just a little short, gazing at her from afar for thirteen years.
