After the Substitute Marriage, the Cannon Fodder Bottom Awakened

Wen Ruo awakened to the truth. He had just finished holding a wedding with a man in a vegetative state at a villa in the middle of nowhere.

It turned out he was the cannon-fodder bottom in a danmei novel, while his half-brother Wen Jing was the beloved protagonist bottom.

He had spent his whole life being a good older brother and son, only to be tricked by his parents and younger brother into marrying a man in a vegetative state in his brother's place.

Not long after the wedding, his husband died. His husband's younger brother was a complete psychopath who locked him in the villa and tortured him day and night. Within a few years, he met a grisly end.

Thinking about the novel's plot, then looking at his husband, who was barely breathing, Wen Ruo clenched his fists! He had to get out of this hellhole as soon as possible!

And those who had hurt him, his cold-hearted father and stepmother, his venomous younger brother, and that psychopath, he would deal with every one of them!

So Wen Ruo carefully tended to his husband in a vegetative state, afraid he might stop breathing, while fending off the psychopath who showed up at his door every few days and made lewd advances, all in the hope of escaping as soon as possible.

Everything was going according to Wen Ruo's plan, except for one unexpected turn.

One day, as usual, he was wiping down his husband's body. As he did so, something unspeakable happened. But he didn't think much of it. His husband was in a vegetative state, not dead. It was only natural for him to have desires. Calmly, Wen Ruo finished his work and left.

But the instant the bedroom door closed, his husband slowly opened his eyes, staring at the doorway with a feverish, obsessive gaze.
