[Detective Conan] The Cat Still Scrounges Meals at the Furuya Household

The System says you’re a cat. If you don’t want to die suddenly from illness or an accident, do your best to mooch meals from the Furuya family.

So you cling to them relentlessly and become Amuro Assam.

Your behavior makes anime fans scoff, even suspecting you bought your way into the cast. But you have to earn favor with the forum to exchange it for items and return to your own body.

So you act cute and adorable, and manage to get your hands on tomorrow’s script.

Just as your career finally starts to take off, your owner goes on a business trip and leaves you with a responsible, caring subordinate... You swear you didn’t mean to starve yourself, but your cat body just won’t obey you... You close your eyes, then open them

Things to know before reading:

* I came up with this on a whim and wrote it for fun. Don’t overthink the plot or ending, or the existence of the System and forum, either.

* The entire Police Academy group survives. Expect a mountain of headcanons. Any OOC is my fault, but I accept no responsibility.

* The cat is a very pretty lion cat. His name is Assam because his fur is a pale tea color. He isn’t technically a real cat, so don’t get hung up on his habits and such...

* The whole story is complete. Earlier titles were The Foodie Cat Debuts on the Furuya Family Forum and Did the Cat Mooch Food at the Furuya House Today? Also known as Furuya Feeds the Cat Again Today.
