When Yukimura Seiichi was a child, he met a strange person with black hair, black eyes, and trembling hands.
The man acted strangely, and was always coughing or suffering from stomach problems.
When little Yukimura told the people around him about it, they gave him odd looks. That was when he realized that... he might be the only one who could see the man in black.
At first, little Yukimura was wary of him. But over time, he discovered that the man in black was just like him, in both interests and personality.
Gradually, he let down his guard, until one day, the man vanished from his world.
The surgery failed. His middle school team's sixteen-year winning streak came to an end, and their bid for a third consecutive title fell through. Even after all that, "Yukimura Seiichi" refused to give up. He would stick to his chosen path, even if he had to climb out of hell to do it.
His body deteriorated at an alarming rate as he fought against his illness.
Then one day, he opened his eyes and saw his younger self before him. "Yukimura Seiichi" fell silent.
P.S. The pairing is double Yukimura. Some details may change once I settle on the story~
A few things to note:
1. The writing has a bittersweet, youthful feel and leans toward healing.
2. The whole story should be completed before posting, so you don't need to worry about update frequency.
3. I want to write a story about Yukimura, even in his darkest hour, always steadfastly and resolutely choosing the path he has long yearned for, without hesitation.
4. The fanfic Yukimura and the canon Yukimura have different experiences. If you feel he's out of character, please stop reading in time.
