Just as Matsuda Jinpei was about to start his new life at police academy, he unexpectedly got bound to a phantom thief System.
Disguise and lockpicking, he could just about understand. But dodging bullets! Street racing! Disarming bombs! Are you sure those are things a phantom thief needs to learn, hey?!
However, he had to keep his phantom thief identity a closely guarded secret. Otherwise, his four dearest classmates would be the first to haul him off to prison.
But why could he see his familiar blue-eyed classmate and the blond, dark-skinned one in that strange organization? And Date! Watch where you're going! You almost got hit by a car, you know!
And that childhood friend he grew up with, you almost died on top of that building, you know!!!
To break free of the System and stop his classmates from doing one dangerous thing after another, Matsuda Jinpei resolutely embarked on the point of no return that was the life of a phantom thief.
P.S. The System has a significant presence. The pairing is HagiMatsu.
