The Godforsaken

In a word: If the “Child of God” is destined to meet with failure, then cast aside the “god” who wrote this absurd script. The important points: Not reborn, not transmigrated, and no powers from other series. This is simply the story of Yukimura gradually overturning the script, leading Rikkai to sixteen consecutive victories and three consecutive national titles. Extremely slow-paced. The chuunibyou version: The Child of God. That's what people called the boy who swept all before him on the tennis court, as if he had earned a god's favor. But fate played a cruel joke on him. He was told he would never be able to pick up a tennis racket again, as though God had abandoned him. “God didn't abandon me.” The boy smiled at the demon who had come to laugh at him. “I chose to abandon God.” The fire in his eyes was the flame of his life. The boy who said tennis was his own made a pact with the demon, picked up his racket again, and returned to the battlefield. The demon waited, filled with boundless malice, for the absurd end of the godforsaker. P.S. 1. My writing is amateurish, the logic is a mess, and the plot changes and out-of-character moments are all my fault. 2. No romance. The only canon pairing for the captain is tennis. 3. Slow-paced, very slow-paced, extremely slow-paced. Here's a recommendation for my friend Yuan Gengren's new story about the captain.
