After I Dumped the Ruthless Crown Prince

[Delicate, Sweet, and Charming Merchant's Daughter vs. Cold and Ruthless Crown Prince]

I.

Xiao Qingrong was alluring and beautiful, with captivating almond-shaped eyes, but she just had to be the daughter of a merchant.

That alone would have been bad enough, but both her parents had passed away.

Her aunt, taken by Xiao Qingrong's jade-like skin and obedient, winsome nature, wanted to offer her to the violent Crown Prince as a concubine, hoping to secure the Xiao family's rise to power.

Trembling with fear, Xiao Qingrong set her sights on the new tutor who had just arrived at the residence.

II.

Xie Xichen was the Crown Prince, a man of noble status who kept himself strictly to propriety. Cold and ruthless, he had no interest in women.

At twenty-three, he still had no heirs. People called him a violent, cruel madman who liked to drink human blood.

But no one knew that ever since Xie Xichen had been harmed by villains, he dreamed of a woman every full moon:

The woman in his dreams was dazzlingly beautiful, her almond-shaped eyes alluring as she softly called his name.

Then, while staying at the Xiao residence under the guise of a tutor, he discovered a fair-skinned, sweet-natured woman living in a separate courtyard. And...

She had exactly the same face as the woman in his dreams.

The difference was that this woman was even more passionate than the one in his dreams.

III.

Xiao Qingrong's plan had been perfectly simple: she only wanted to keep her distance from the Crown Prince, who liked to drink human blood, and stay alive.

But who could have guessed that the tutor, though seemingly aloof, refined, and immaculate, would become as insatiable as a beast whenever he was with Xiao Qingrong?

Xiao Qingrong had no one to confide in, so she packed her bags and slipped away while the tutor wasn't looking.

But just as she was carousing with a male friend, her once-cool tutor stormed in, his face dark with anger.

He was dressed in a resplendent imperial robe.

"Didn't Rongrong say she wanted to have children with me?"

Xie Xichen's voice was low and teasing, his gaze inscrutable.

"Without me, how do you think Rongrong can have a child?"

1. Fictional setting, both leads are each other's first, happy ending.
