P1
Xu Mi found a snow-white Samoyed and named him Snowball.
Perhaps because he had been a stray for so long,
Snowball was very wary and hard to tame. He even had a bit of a biting problem.
But Xu Mi still brought him home, patiently brushing his fur and giving him baths. She fed him the most expensive dog food and absolutely adored him.
Then one day, Snowball went missing.
Xu Mi was distraught and searched everywhere for him.
She didn't find the dog, but she did run into a ridiculously handsome guy.
With a face that could bring a nation to ruin and a deep, rich voice, he startled Xu Mi when he asked:
"What are you looking for?"
P2
Xie Jiazhi was injured and unable to take human form.
He had planned to recover in peace, but Xu Mi unexpectedly dragged him home.
She insisted on bathing him and brushing his fur, made him eat awful dog food, and even gave him an absolutely dreadful name: Snowball.
Half a month later, Xie Jiazhi had recovered and could finally return to human form.
The first thing he did was leave Xu Mi's house.
He planned to walk away for good, but when he glanced back, he saw the young woman rushing around looking for something, her eyes brimming with tears.
He couldn't help feeling sorry for her.
After hesitating for a moment, he came back and asked, "What are you looking for?"
The young woman sobbed, "I'm looking for my Samoyed."
Xie Jiazhi fell silent, unsure whether he should remind her that he was actually a nine-tailed fox.
He wasn't a Samoyed at all.
P3
After returning home with Xu Mi, Xie Jiazhi shifted back and forth several times before she reluctantly accepted that he was Snowball.
But later, he noticed the young woman growing gloomy.
She stopped being affectionate with him and even started avoiding him.
"Since you're all better, maybe... we should go our separate ways?" Xu Mi finally worked up the courage to say one day.
Xie Jiazhi didn't like that.
For the first time in front of Xu Mi, he transformed into his enormous monster form. He leaned close, baring his sharp fangs, and growled,
"You're the one who came after me first."
"You'll never get away from me."
PS: Foxes are monogamous. They carefully choose their mates and remain faithful for life. Nine-tailed foxes symbolize pure love. The male lead has three forms: human, ordinary original form, and an enormous nine-tailed fox form. His ordinary original form is an Arctic fox, whose appearance is similar to a silver fox dog, also known as a white fox dog. He's smaller than a Samoyed, but his face resembles a fox-like Samoyed. The heroine mistakes him for a Samoyed, perhaps a mixed breed or a small one, and raises him as a Samoyed the whole time.
Theme: Live positively and show kindness.
