Fair Weather

The girl Huang Jiameng hated most was Song Yi.

Song Yi was good at school and beautiful, but she was always on her own, acting aloof and looking down on everyone.

She was also quite close to the basketball team captain Huang Jiameng had a crush on, which made her terribly jealous.

But at some point, rumors suddenly started going around their year that Song Yi liked her.

A few classmates even began teasing them about being a couple in class.

Huang Jiameng waved her hands and tried to explain everywhere. "No way!"

"We've never even spoken!"

Who could have known that Song Yi would remain icy-cold, refusing to clear things up in class and pretending she hadn't heard a thing?

After class, Huang Jiameng stormed over to her. "Why didn't you explain?"

"Explain what?" Song Yi asked, looking up from her book in confusion.

Huang Jiameng hated that haughty, couldn't-care-less attitude of hers.

"They said you like me!"

"Oh..." Song Yi finally reacted and nodded.

"But they're not wrong."

She looked over calmly, perfectly composed. "I really do like you."

Liking you is like loving the white clouds, blue sky, and green grass I saw the day I met you.

You're the beautiful weather I want to hold on to forever.
