[Detective Conan] Happy Ending

“I heard there's a dead-last student in Onizuka's class?” “That's me.” “I heard Gin has a mysterious member working under him.” “That's me.” “I heard someone just opened a fortune-telling shop in Beika?” “Yep, that's me.” “I heard the Organization's boss has a secret about immortality...?” “Yep, that's me too.” “...How many clones do you have, exactly?” “Huh? None. It's all me.” “?” “I'm just an ordinary master of time management.” - Tanikawa Harumi doesn't believe in ghosts or gods. Tanikawa Harumi never makes wishes. At twenty-two, Tanikawa Harumi was passionate and bold, full of bright hopes for the future. He didn't know what it meant to grow tired, and naively believed the world would never change. At twenty-six, Tanikawa Harumi learned to drink heavily. Holding a pen that could no longer write a single word, he received a bullet-riddled phone after sunset. At twenty-nine, Tanikawa Harumi tried to forget everything amid a mountain of work and nightmares. Then, just as the last cherry blossom fell, a blue-eyed god stood at the end of the road and reached out to him. And so, at thirty-two, Tanikawa Harumi made a wish. - *The characters belong to their creators; any out-of-character behavior is on me. *There's no logic, the timeline is a mess, and the writing is awful. If you spot something that doesn't line up, it's a bug. Please pretend you didn't see it (?). *The protagonist is a 24/7 cleanup grunt, working around the clock to clear away contamination. He belongs neither to the good guys nor entirely to the bad guys. His morals and principles might slide down a landslide at any moment, soaring on wings between chaotic (emphasis) good (quietly) and chaotic chaotic (?). *Written for love, started on a whim, updated whenever inspiration strikes. Please don't offer writing advice. *Contains Lovecraftian elements, as well as reimagined magic and mythical creatures. Theme: Never give up, never look back.
