It's Hard for an Introvert and an Extrovert to Fall in Love

Introverted shut-in x attention-grabbing social butterfly

Xiao Yao has been withdrawn and severely socially anxious since childhood. Getting her to go out for ten minutes on the weekend is about as hard as teaching a pig to climb a tree.

Xu Muxing has been outgoing and sociable since childhood. He could strike up a conversation with any random guy on the street and chat all day. Asking him to stay home would be like asking him to teach a pig to climb a tree.

And yet, these two fell in love.

On the first day of their relationship, Xiao Yao hoped she'd get food poisoning and die on the spot when Xu Muxing took her out to dinner with his friends.

On the second day, Xu Muxing wanted to bang his head against the wall while staying home with Xiao Yao to watch shows and play single-player games.

On the third day, they stared at each other in silence.

Xiao Yao bit her lip and started to consider giving up. "Maybe we should..."

Xu Muxing took off his shirt and flopped onto the bed. "We're not breaking up."

Xiao Yao is a good friend of Xu Muxing's younger sister. She's extremely insecure and severely socially anxious.

At his sister's request, he teaches Xiao Yao how to interact with people, guiding her every step of the way and encouraging her to be confident.

Wanting Xiao Yao to experience being in love, Xu Muxing pulls out all the stops to teach her how to pursue the boy she likes. He's practically ready to do it for her himself.

But somewhere along the way, he ends up falling for her.

The day Xiao Yao comes to tell him that her confession succeeded,

Xu Muxing gets completely drunk at a bar, clutching a bottle with tears in his eyes.

"Will I get struck by lightning if I steal someone else's girl? Huh?"
