I Definitely Don’t Like Him [School Life]

At first: A cynical, gloomy jerk × an energetic firecracker

Later: A lovesick puppy × an academically focused blockhead

-

Xie Shuyu began acting as a child star and was once hailed as "the go-to actor for playing the young version of the male lead."

Qi Xia was his die-hard fan and could recite every show he'd ever appeared in from memory.

They first met at the airport, where Qi Xia was shoved around by fans and fell in the chaos.

The slender hand of a young man reached out to her, his eyes full of apology and concern. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?"

...Okay enough to die happy.

They met for the second time after he quit show business, in an alley near Qi Xia's home. He beat a grown man to the ground, snatched his camera, smashed it, and stamped it to pieces.

The young man looked at her, his eyes full of irritation and disgust.

His expression was cold, his tone cutting. "Had enough of staring, trash?"

-

Good news: Her favorite star, who quit the industry, is now her classmate!

Bad news: He's a huge piece of trash in private!

-

Somehow, a rumor started that Qi Xia and Xie Shuyu, who couldn't stand each other, were dating.

Qi Xia put her hands on her hips, furious. "That's a rumor! If I ever like him, I'll be a dog for the rest of my life!"

Xie Shuyu crossed his arms beside her and sneered. "Same."

Some time later, Qi Xia was hunched over in the classroom, frantically copying her homework. Xie Shuyu pulled out a chair and sat beside her.

She turned to look at him.

The young man's ears were red. He pressed his lips together, then awkwardly said, "Woof."

Note:

1. He calls the heroine trash because he mistakes her for a sasaeng fan. He's gloomy and mean at first, then turns into a lovesick puppy.

2. The story is mainly set at school, with little to do with show business. The male lead was active only as a child star and has never filmed a kissing scene.
