My Eldritch God Father

[A father-and-child family story with no romance. I'll open it if it gets enough follows.] [It probably won't be long~ Cute, cozy childcare.] Luo Ning was a tiny little child with a grandfather who loved him. Before he even understood what parents were, his grandfather, Luo En, found a dirty octopus plushie in a trash can, washed it, and put it in the little one's bed. At that time, an evil god had just descended upon this world. Not long before, He had eaten several humans who had offended Him. Faced with a young human child who knew no better, He decided to wait until the child was a little older before eating him. But little Luo Ning, knowing nothing about the octopus plushie, grabbed one of its pitch-black tentacles, slowly shoved it into his mouth, and began to munch. The evil god: Is this human child being a little too offensive? As He hesitated over whether to eat the little snack early, a warm, soft child smelling of milk suddenly burrowed into His arms. "Daddy..." The child's big, clear black eyes were full of foolish kindness and innocent love. He hugged the octopus toy without the slightest fear. The evil god decided to keep raising him for a while. To that end, when a monster that ate unusual things crawled up through the sewers to hunt human babies, His tentacles smacked it back down; when a thief broke in in the middle of the night and tried to take the child with him, the thief was made to stay forever; when Grandpa came home too late and the child cried from hunger, the octopus plushie used its tentacle to grab the bottle beside the bed... * Grandpa was getting old. The only thing he couldn't stop worrying about was his little adopted grandson, Luo Ning. Ning was the most well-behaved, cutest, and most considerate baby in the world. "If only your dad were home. He'd surely take good care of you..." Grandpa thought of his missing son and sighed heavily. "Daddy, Daddy!" Little Ning picked up the octopus plushie and showed it to Grandpa. "This is Daddy?" Grandpa patted the little one's head. "It's Daddy!" Little Ning said with absolute certainty. "Sigh..." Grandpa sighed even more heavily. "Sigh..." Little Ning sighed along with him, hugging the octopus plushie. The octopus plushie patted them on the shoulders to comfort them. Grandpa: ??? Little one: Daddy! Later, the Luo family's son, who had been away from home for years, opened the door and came inside. He found "himself" enjoying a happy family life with his son and elderly father. The evil god: I didn't come here to break up this family. I've already become part of it! Little one: Daddy may be a big, pitch-black octopus, but he's so soft to hug, and his tentacles can do so many things at once! When I grow up, I want to be an amazing big octopus like Daddy! The evil god father patted His little one. That might be a bit difficult. But that was all right. They would find a way. Theme: Love is hope.
